Antony Costa is joining the cast of Popstar! The Musical. The Blue boyband member will star alongside Sam Kane (Brookside), John Altman (Nick Cotton from Eastenders), Sarah Jane Buckley, Ciara Janson (both Hollyoaks) and Rob McVeigh (BBC Any Dream Will Do!) in a show billed as the ultimate feel-good musical at DG One on Thursday and Friday, April 15 and 16. The Olympic Torch will take on the added heat of star power this week, as Arnold “The Governator” Schwarzenegger and crooner Michael Buble take their turns as torchbearers in Vancouver. Westlife will soon be hitting your screens in a big way to promote their new single 'What About Now' and album 'Where We Are'. To find out when please check out the forum. After all the big names that have appeared on the X Factor over the last few weeks another is set to join the list. The 1st November show sees rock legends Bon Jovi performing and they'll be joined by former X Factor runner ups JLS. The cast of West End show Legally Blonde will be raising awareness of Breast Cancer at the Campaign’s wear it pink day on Friday 30 October by appearing for a photocall at the fundraiser. The cast includes; Duncan James, Peter Davison and Jill Halfpenny. This year's Christmas lights in Blackburn will be switched on by the singer Simon Webbe on the 14th November. Westlife could be set to perform in their home town in the not too distant future. Kian said that the band hope to make a return to Markievicz Park in the next couple of years although no definite date has been set. Former X Factor winner Leona Lewis, has been asked to perform her new single ‘Happy’ on the ITV talent show. She will be on the show on Sunday 8th November. Lots of news for Leona Lewis, Peter Andre & Strictly Come Dancing today! But firstly... The Osmonds have announced a 2010 tour. For more details go here Richard Dunwoody became the 2nd star to be voted of Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday evening. The former jockey took on Coronation Street star Craig Kelly in the dance off after they scored the two lowest marks when the judges' scores were combined with viewers' votes. His fate was sealed when judges Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon all voted to save Kelly although head judge Len Goodman admitted he had planned to vote for Dunwoody. The jockey, who twice won the Grand National, said: "It's been an unbelievable experience. It's just been tremendous." He said partner Lilia Kopylova had done a "tremendous job". Earlier, Revel Horwood was accused of being "rude" by professional dancer Brendan Cole when he criticised the rumba performed by Jo Wood, the estranged wife of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood. Meanwhile Hollyoaks star Ricky Whittle topped the leader board both nights. The 14 remaining stars face will all compete next weekend. Staying with Strictly Come Dancing the Sunday Mirror revealed that bosses are in secret talks to bring back sacked judge Arlene Phillips. Producers plan to offer Arlene, 66, a role choreographing dances in at least one of the final shows. It would mean she would be back in the studio, sitting in the front row of the live studio audience - just feet away from Alesha Dixon, 30, who replaced her as a judge in an ageism row. A Strictly source said last night: "There's a massive buzz about the idea of bringing her back. We've always seen Arlene as part of the Strictly family and, knowing how popular she is among the show's fans, we have been looking at ways to bring her back in." Producers have also looked at using Arlene as an extra critic alongside ballerina Darcey Bussell for the grand finale in December. The amazing U-turn comes as the BBC1 show shed nearly one million viewers in its second week, amid a backlash against new judge Alesha. When Leona Lewis refused to open a sale at Harrods Department store because it sold fur, many applauded her decision to stand by her beliefs. But not everybody thought it was best decision to turn down over a million dollars, even if it came from a store which stocked those products. “I am outspoken, especially if it’s to do with animal welfare,” Leona told Scotland’s The Big Issue. “I got a lot of flak for the Harrods decision. There were people who said I should have done it and given the money to charity, but that would have been such a contradiction because doing it on one hand to give on the other is not helping anything.” Leona was also hitting the headlines after a trip to Los Angeles. Zac Efron showed his charming ways as he flashed a peace sign and gave his awaiting fans a wink when he left “The Death & Life of Charlie St. Cloud” set in Vancouver on Friday afternoon (September 25). The “High School Musical” heartthrob was working hard on his latest flick, so he was hardly spotted at the downtown. He was also expected to be included in the cast of another film “Me & Orson Welles,” which will be released in the US on November 25th. His girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens will return in Los Angeles tomorrow for the Neutrogena Fresh Face Event. Aussie singer Peter Andre has been forced to cancel a show in Scotland today after losing his voice. The Mysterious Girl hitmaker was due to perform an intimate gig for competition winners in Glasgow, but has pulled out of the Radio Clyde concert because of throat problems. He will still travel to the city for a pre-arranged meet-and-greet with fans. Andre's spokesperson says, "Peter has a slight vocal strain but he'll meet competition winners for the In Demand show at Radio Clyde." An exhausted but very happy-looking Peter Andre was beaming in photos promoting his new album last week. Yet shortly after smiling for the cameras Pete, 36, broke down in tears as he dedicated his song Unconditional to Harvey, Jordan's seven-year-old son by Dwight Yorke. Fans at the album launch noticed he looked gaunt, tired and thinner than ever before. Since the split, Pete's lost nearly 3st - around 2lb a week. He's still living with his brother Michael and often has to get up at 6am for work, skipping breakfast in favour of a strong coffee. But he still works out, even though he now looks painfully thin. Last week he admitted: ‘I'm scared of putting weight back on, so I'm training 45 minutes a day.' Pete's staying busy to keep his mind off the split, but there are fears that by pushing himself so hard his health could suffer - or worse, he could relapse into the eating disorder he suffered during his Mysterious Girl days.

Dozens of celebs, including singer Simon Webbe and boxer Nigel Benn, will be among the star-studded line-up hoping to raise cash for the Help for heroes Charity which supports injured servicemen and women. They will be joined by a host of England’s football greats including Les Ferdinand, Chris Waddle and Peter Beardsley, as well as one or two former Reading players. Quick update for you today. The final series of Big Brother finished last night with Sophie Reade being crowned the winner. The glamour model, who was the bookies' favourite, looked shocked when her name was read out by the show's host Davina McCall. She hugged runner-up Siavash Sabbaghpour and shook her head in disbelief. Sophie, 20, from Cheshire, told McCall: "I never thought I'd win. I didn't think I'd get on the show, let alone win. Well... it's September. Isn't the year just flying in!! Leona Lewis has just announced that her brand new song entitled "Happy" will be debuted on September 6. The lead single from her upcoming release "Echo" will get its debut exclusively on BBC's "The Radio 1 Chart Show". The fresh material is also expected to be sung by Leona at Paula Abdul-hosted VH1 Divas Concert on September 17. After being promoted through Divas Concert and "some other stuff," this song will be made available for digital purchase on November 8 with its physical release to hit the stores in U.K. a day later. "Echo" itself is set to be put out in U.K. on November 16 and in U.S. the next day. "I titled my album 'ECHO', since an echo describes a big, organic sound. I'm in the midst of the recording process, working with incredible songwriters and producers, and my music has really evolved. It's so exciting to create something new," Leona said of the new album. Zac Efron is one of a number of celebrities who have teamed up with both Subway and the Little League World Series to try to bring awareness to the sport of baseball. The goal of bringing awareness to baseball is taking place through the Annual Baseball Design Across America Tour. As part of the campaign, each of the celebrities involved has decorated a baseball and signed it. The balls will be put on eBay to be auctioned off. All proceeds from the eBay auction will go to Little League Baseball.

Lots of news for you today, so here goes Simon Cowell protégée Leona Lewis has decided on a title and release date for her new album. Echo, the follow-up to Lewis' platinum-plus 2008 debut, Spirit, is due Nov. 17. "An echo describes a big, organic sound," Lewis says of her choice. Lewis is recording in various cities, including New York and Los Angeles. Though one track called Don't Let Me Down has leaked online, neither the lineup of songs nor the list of contributors has been finalized. "I'm working with incredible songwriters and producers, and my music has really evolved," Lewis says. Ryan Tedder, who co-wrote and produced Lewis' chart-topping breakthrough hit, Bleeding Love, is one confirmed collaborator, and a number of top artists have joined her in the studio, including Justin Timberlake, Ne-Yo and producer Timbaland. You may be glad to know Rob's still single. "You always think you're going to get more girls after you've made a movie and it never happens," he insists. The star claims he's doesn't have a certain "type". "Whenever I get asked who my favorite celebrity crush is, I have no idea." Despite getting lots of attention from female fans, he states he would never act on it as most of the fans are too young or too old. Leona Lewis has become the victim of a computer hack at Syco Records. The onetime X Factor winner turned worldwide singing star has had three tracks stolen and leaked on to the internet after hackers tapped into the IT system of Syco Records, the label run by music mogul and TV talent show judge Cowell. The latest track to be posted on the web, Don’t Let Me Down, was produced by the Grammy Award-winning performer Justin Timberlake. All three tracks were made during recording sessions for Lewis’s new album, due out in November. The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) said it was the highest-profile hacking case the music industry had ever seen. Jeremy Banks, the head of the organisation’s internet anti-piracy unit said: “IFPI is working with Syco and law enforcement agencies in the US and Europe to trace the individuals who stole the Leona Lewis/Justin Timberlake track.” The police are understood to have been tracking the hackers for several weeks and are close to closing the case. “They have a significant list of names and there are a couple of ringleaders,” a source close to the case told Times Online. Syco Records has had difficulty pinpointing exactly when the thefts took place or if Lewis and Burke’s tracks were stolen at the same time as the hackers have fed the songs to the internet over a period of time. Date for your diary! Grease: The School Musical which Duncan is on, starts Sunday 30th August at 7pm on Sky1. Hopefully video will be up same night. The X Factor will be beefed up with a new Sunday results show when the live stages are reached, ITV have confirmed. From mid-autumn, the usual Saturday programme - showcasing hopefuls' performances in front of judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue - will be joined by the new peak-time Sunday show, also featuring guest stars.Both shows will be live, so viewers will have a greater opportunity to vote over weekends. The official announcement follows widespread speculation that plans were being drawn up for a Sunday show.

The best selling boy band of all time, BACKSTREET BOYS have just announced they will play The Odyssey Arena on Thursday 12th November. Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, and AJ McLean will be performing some of their chart-topping hits like Quit Playing Games (with My Heart), As Long As You Love Me, Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) and All I Have To Give, as well as debuting new material from their seventh studio album This is Us which is due for release on 2nd October. Tickets go on sale on Friday 21st August. Robbie Williams has been confirmed as one of the special guests on the new series of the X Factor which begins August 22. The show is digging deep into its pockets this year with rumours Rihanna, Whitney Houston and Madonna might also make appearances. Also on X Factor scene; Kelly Osbourne may be about to follow in her mother’s footsteps by appearing on the X Factor. Apparently the 24-year-old has been lined-up for a very special performance with Irish boyband Boyzone. Antony Costa has revealed that he is hoping to prove his worth as an actor when fans see him starring in Casualty later this year. The Blue singer recently filmed a one-off appearance in the BBC One medical drama, playing a man who douses his prostitute girlfriend with petrol. His episode is expected to air in November. Speaking to the Daily Record, he explained: "I can't wait for it to come out. It's going to show me in a different light. Following on form Blue's Gig at Tarmworth last weekend it porved a huge sucess! "Lee Ryan called me and said that of all the festivals he's done, he's never experienced anything like it – the vibe, the buzz when they were on stage and the organisation," explained festival co-organiser Jem Sanders. Il Divo star David Miller married singer and theater actress Sarah Joy Kabanuck on Saturday evening in New York. The two wed in an old townhouse decorated in the spirit of La Bohème, paying tribute to where they first met six years ago while performing opposite each other in Baz Luhrman's Broadway production of the famous Puccini opera. Miller, in a Giorgio Armani suit, and Kabanuck, in an ivory wedding gown by Michelle Rahn, exchanged vows by two iron rod trees decorated with fig vines, lush flowers and quartz crystals. The bride walked down the aisle to an original music piece written by Miller and performed by a string trio with a harp. The ceremony area featured iron rod gates inspired by the opera and covered in moss and flowers. The 100 guests sat on park benches and garden chairs with bistro tables while the 20-member choir West Village Chorale performed. Following the ceremony, guests will be treated to dinner stations in three different opera-themed rooms: The Madame Butterfly room featuring sushi from Nobu; the La Traviata room's French fare will include fois gras and salad of haricot verts; and the La Bohème room, where Italian food such as meatballs, sausage and Tuscan-grilled vegetables will be served. The newlyweds will dance their first dance to "Such Great Heights" by Iron & Wine before enjoying a three-tiered blueberry, vanilla and chocolate cake by Ron Ben-Israel. Il Divo will be on tour in Asia & Australia later this month. Canadian singer and song writer Michael Buble is getting ready to release a new album later this year. Here's the first single off it called "Baby (You've Got What It Takes)" and it features Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings. Finally the latest news from the Big Brother house. Hira became the latest contest to be voted out of the house. Depsite fearing the crowd hated her, she emerged to a friendly crowd, most of whom cheered as she posed for press photos.

Just when you thought the line up for V Festival couldn’t get any better a further nine acts have been confirmed to perform. Cheeky popsters McFly are the latest band to sign up for this year’s festival. Other additions include Sneaky Sound System, Asher Roth Carolina Liar, Bjorn Again, Mike Snow, Exit Calm and Zarif. Thirteen years since it's inception, the festival, which will take place in Hylands Park, Chelmsford, over the weekend of August 22 and 23, will feature some of the music industry’s biggest bands of the moment. The latest acts will join headliners Oasis and the Killers, as well as the likes of Lady Ga Ga and Lily Allen. Heat Magazine this week features a full one page article on Duncan James. Its up in magazine section for those who want to read it. It certainly had me giggling for rest of the day! We have some new Duncan James pics up, here is just a taster!

Robert Pattinson has become an international superstar playing vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight movie franchise — but he insists his fame hasn’t changed him. "VH1 Divas" is set to return on 17th September featuring Kelly Clarkson, Adele, Leona Lewis & Miley Cyrus. For the first time ever, these leading ladies at the top of their musical game will perform together live at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York. Continuing in true "Divas" tradition, the evening will feature a night of unforgettable performances from various performers, presenters and special guests. Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks. As in previous years, this "VH1 Divas" specials will raise funds for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education in American public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child's complete education. Leona Lewis is reportedly planning a 14 month "Garden of Eden" themed tour. Travis Payne who was involved with Michael Jackson's ill-fated tours is said is be involved. Record company SyCo want to make Leona an international phenomenon & have said that money is no issue. An insider has indicated that they hope for this tour to be one of the most talked about next year. No dates have been confirmed as yet. Robert Pattinson is still filming "Remember Me" in New York despite reports that this had been wrapped up. Rob is due on the West Coast to promote New Moon with Kristen Stewart at Comic-Con in San Diego.

Today saw the trade launch of Get On, a ground breaking £4m nationwide consumer campaign to promote motorcycling and scootering, which kicked off with a live riding demonstration by Blue’s Simon Webbe at the Britannia Stadium, Stoke. The revolutionary Get On campaign has been designed to promote the message that Life’s Better on Two Wheels and throughout the UK it will offer the public free, one hour, riding taster sessions on motorcycles and scooters, over the next three years. Fresh from rehearsals for Blue’s comeback tour, motorcycle enthusiast Simon Webbe was the star attraction at the launch where he was put through his paces on a 125cc motorcycle. Award-winning singer and song-writer James Morrison, band legends Boyzone, and Britain's top classical artist Katherine Jenkins will all be starring at the three day Big Gig at the Bath and West Showground in September with more top artists due to be confirmed soon! The weekend will run from 25th - 27th September. Ten thousand people are expected to snap up tickets for the event and there will be support artists for the main acts. The boyband comebacks continue with news that Backstreet Boys are to release a new single from a forthcoming album by the end of July. The single tentatively titled as “Soldier down”, has a Euro dance zing to it; it has been produced by Red One, the name behind the big hit “Pokerface” by Lady Ga Ga. The album is due for release in October with the boys set to embark on a world tour in November. However Kevin Richardson will not be part of the lineup after leaving the band in 2006.

Some new tour dates have been announced over the past few days. Firstly James Morrison has announced European dates in Germany & Belgium in October. McFly will also be returning to Butlins, Minehead for a follow up of the sucessful 2006 show. The Concert Weekend (13th - 16th November) includes accommodation, concert ticket and lots of free live shows, loads of sports and activities, all this hosted at the beautiful Minehead seaside Resort. A Michael Jackson Tribute Concert is set to take place in the O2 Arena, London. Stars including Leona Lewis, Justin Timberlake & Usher are said to have expressed enthusiasm for the project. Stars are likely to be asked to perform covers of their favourite hits, and clips of Jacko are expected to feature heavily throughout the show. A date has not yet been confirmed but it is hoped to be this summer. Celebrity Come Dine With Me Extra Portions is due to air on Monday 20th July at 5.30 on Channel 4. This is another chance to see episodes featuring Lee Ryan, Michelle Heaton & other stars, with previously unseen footage. Not to be missed!! In Big Brother, Siavesh & Dogface are to face the public vote this week as punishment for discussing nominations. Karly & Noirin are also up for eviction. In other Big Brother news, former housemate 'Nasty' Nick Bateman, who appeared in the very first series, will be paying a visit to the house to mark the show's 10th anniversary week. He will have another chance to take part in the assault course task he faced in the first series. The Daily Star have reported that Big brother bosses are planning to bring an ex girlfriend of Kris Donnelly’s into the BB house. The relationship between Kris and Sophie is probably the most boring BB romance since Brian and Amanda’s and Big Brother sources say they need something more gripping to keep the public interested. Firstly - Happy 4th July to all our friends in America! Hope you are having a great day! Some new from Big Brother. Angel McKenzie who was evicted from the house last week has revealed her plans to resume her boxing career. She says her stint on the hit show has renewed her enthusiasm for her professional boxing career and she’s wasted no time in lining up her next fight with a bout at the York Hall, Bethnal Green on July 18th. McKenzie will have her eighteenth professional fight on the undercard of the Danny McIntosh – Nathan Cleverly British Light Heavyweight title fight with the Hennessy Sports event live on ITV4. The 31-year-old has revealed that the pressure of being inside the Big Brother house is nothing compared to the pressure of being in the ring. “The pressure if far greater when you are a boxer,” she said. McKenzie’s three year professional boxing career has brought mixed results but she still believes that she can become a World Champion. Despite being based in London the July 18th bout will be only the fourth time she has fought in the UK. “My record is very misleading and this fight at the York Hall will actually be the first time I have fought at featherweight which is my natural weight. “Unfortunately there are only 11 female professional boxers in Britain so it is very hard to get regular fights here. According to The Sun, tour promoters AEG are planning a benefit gig in honour of Jackson, who died on Thursday. The 'Man In The Mirror' singer had signed for a series of gigs at the O2 arena in London prior to his death.
